KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-City Americans defeat the Seattle Thunderbirds Tuesday night, 3-1. All the Americans' goals came in the first period. Patrick Holland scored a power play goal. Connor Rankin and Justin Feser scored the other Tri-City goals. Eric Comrie saved 31 shots in the victory. Seattle's only goal came late in the third period on the power play from Connor Sanvido. Tri-City remains one point ahead of the Portland Winterhawks for first place in the U.S. Division and the Western Conference.
