Seussapalooza at the Boys & Girl's Club

Fans of Dr. Seuss are invited to Seussapalooza at the Boys & Girls Club in Kennewick.

It's in honor of the author's birthday, and an effort to raise money for the club's projects.

Members transformed the building into a colorful display of hats, balloons, and ribbons.

The kids say it will be a family event, and fun for all ages.

"I like his writing because he has really great rhymes and stuff like that," says 9 Year Old Carter Iverson.

"Anyone of any age can probably like the books because of how sill it is and how sometimes serious it is," says 11 Year Old Zackery Glenn.

Seussapalooza is going on from 6:30 to 8:00 Friday.

It's at the Boys and Girls Club at 20th North Benton Street in Downtown Kennewick.

It's $3 per person and $10 per family.
