RICHLAND, Wash. -- A teenager too young to even drive took Richland Police on a chase Sunday morning.

Police say and officer ran the plates of a car they thought was stolen and then tried to pull over the 15-year-old driver.  When he wouldn't pull over, they threw spike strips to blow his tires, but police say he still kept on going.

The driver took them all the way from State Route 240 near Duportail to Road 68 in Pasco.

"We put out spike strips and flattened some of the vehicle's tires. still didn't stop, continued to drive, even after losing a tire. and ultimately we spiked it again. and then Pasco police helped out.  they did what's called a pit maneuver," says Sgt. Wayne DuBois with Richland Police.

The 15 year old driver was arrested and charged with eluding police, driving without a license, and possession of stolen property and minor in possession of alcohol.
