RICHLAND, WA-The novelist who brought werewolves and vampires to the Tri Cities has written a new book.
Patricia Briggs will sign copies of FAIR GAME at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hastings in Richland.
In her bestselling Mercy Thompson novels, Briggs used the Tri-Cities as the backdrop, where vampires, werewolves, and other paranormals lived among the locals.
In FAIR GAME, Briggs sends her werewolves to Boston where they help the FBI search for a serial killer hunting werewolves.
"And being werewolves, they go to hunt, too," says Briggs.
Briggs is currently working on a new novel in the Thompson series, scheduled to be finished next year.
Fans may want to get to the book signing early. Several hundred people turned out for Briggs' last book signing in the Tri-Cities.
