Mason Wilgosh talks about return

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-City Americans have six games to take back the top spot in the Western Conference and win the US Division. Captain Mason Wilgosh will be a big factor in that stretch. Wilgosh is at full speed again after recovering from a right foot injury. Sunday night he had two assists in the much-needed win over Portland, his first points since returning seven games ago.

"It feels great to be back. You never want to be in the stands watching your teammates play. It's nice, a good feeling to be back in the room with the guys and back on the ice. I ended up coming back earlier than I thought, which is a positive for me. I can get ready for the playoffs sooner," Wilgosh said.
