KENNEWICK, Wash. - Kennewick police have released the name of the man responsible for a five hour standoff Monday in an apartment on N. Irving Place. 32 year old Jason Hemperly is accused of firing a gun in the apartment, and was found hiding in the bathroom with non life-threatening, self inflicted cuts. Hemperly was treated at a hospital then booked into jail for unlawful discharge of a firearm, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest.
