KENNEWICK, Wash. --The Jack-Sons on Kennewick Avenue in Kennewick say they could be open as early as next week.
The restaurant closed in late January when the former owner declined to renew its lease. Chuck Fisher who owns the Richland Jack-Sons took over the Kennewick sports bar. He says he went over budget to give the bar a fresh look, but it hasn't been easy.
"A nightmare. Anything that could possibly go wrong has gone wrong. Every time we turn a switch on, it breaks. So we're finding that we're replacing a lot more than we what originally thought we we're going to," says Fisher.
He adds the goal is to re-create the original look and feel the restaurant had when it first opened.
New additions to this location include a new stove and grill, refrigerator, roof, and a new menu. Fisher adds food will be the same as their Richland sports bar .. But a bit smaller menu.
