Walla Walla, Wash. - A Walla Walla man faces murder charges for a homicide that happened almost a year ago. Police have charged 43-year old Daniel Dodd in the murder of 24-year old Kevin Myrick.
It happened last June when Myrick was shot in the face while working on his car outside his home. Police say Dodd was a person of interest from the beginning. He was arrested shortly after the murder on unrelated charges.
Police continued to investigate, and recently received a tip about the murder weapon. Detectives found the gun this week in the Snake River near Burbank. Dodd will make his first court appearance on Friday.
