NEAR TOPPENISH, Wash. -- Dozens of drivers along Highway 97, south of Toppenish were caught in a huge dust storm Sunday afternoon.
Washington State troopers told KNDO they've closed a stretch of the highway between Larue and Pumphouse Roads.
There was poor to zero visibility, as heavy winds blew all across the highway. Troopers say they received a call around 1:15 p.m. of a 20 vehicle pileup.
WSP, Toppenish and Tribal police and firefighters, along with several EMS vehicles were on scene.
Troopers say one person was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
