PASCO, WA- The trial of a woman accused of murdering her adopted mother may not happen until summer.
Pasco police arrested Tashia Stuart one year ago this month. Her trial is set to start in April, but Wednesday her attorneys told the judge one of them may have to bow out because of a possible conflict.
The attorneys didn't say what the conflict may be.
Police last month arrested Stuart's husband and returned him from California, where he moved a month before the shooting death of Judy Hebert.
Prosecutors say Todd Stuart tried to kill his mother-in-law just before he moved out of her home.
Tashia Stuart says she shot Hebert in self-defense.
