Washington State Patrol holding "walk in testing" on Friday
YAKIMA, Wash.-- The Washington State Patrol is looking find more trooper candidates as many of their officers reach retirement age.
They're holding "walk in tests" this Friday in Spokane and Olympia. People can bring their applications on testing day, rather than sending them in ahead of time.
The test evaluates the candidate's judgment and communications skills. It also includes a physical fitness portion.
There are two locations to take it on Friday. One starts at 7:30 am in Olympia in the state patrol headquarters located on 210 11th Avenue SW. The other starts at 8 am in Spokane in the district four headquarters located at 6403 West Rowand Road.
