Richland Chiropractor Accused Of Sexual Misconduct
Patients should be able to trust their doctors, but a Benton County chiropractor is now accused of crossing that line.
The Washington State Department of Health and Chiropractic Quality Assurance Commission has suspended the license of Richland chiropractor Russell Tagg after a patient claimed he sexually violated her.
In over six pages of documents, the patient claims Tagg treated her between March 30th and September 9th of 2011. The woman says Tagg frequently massaged her in inappropriate places and took off her underwear. She also claims Tagg ended the sessions by kissing her on the cheek.
The chiropractor will not be allowed to practice in Washington until the charges are resolved. The Washington State Department of Health also told NBC Right Now they are unaware of any criminal charges against Tagg.
Tagg declined to speak to NBC Right Now about the claims.
