YAKIMA, Wash.-- Apple's newest iPad arrived in stores today.
The AT&T location in Yakima had several employees out to talk with people about the new product. It's more powerful than the previous iPad and has a better resolution screen. It can also use 4G networks for web browsing. AT&T expects it to sell out at all stores in Eastern Washington by this weekend.
"There's always a high level of enthusiasm and excitement surrounding it and we're no less excited about it than any other... customers," says AT&T Manager Jim Thompson.
The store says the iPad tends to sell slower than the iPhone. They say that's due to the higher price and the fact that the tablet market is still relatively new.
