RICHLAND, Wash.-Hanford's B Reactor isn't just for grown-ups anymore.
The Department of Energy has lowered the age limit for tours of the national historic landmark.
The B Reactor produced nuclear weapons materials for World War Two and the cold war.
Families with children age 12 can sign up for this year's tours, which start next month and run through September.
The DOE will also schedule a limited number of tours for middle and high schools.
The DOE will start filling the seats for the tours on its website starting at midnight, March 20.
