Exercise to keep up with grandchildren

Health experts say exercise is important for all ages, but it can be challenging as you get older.

Personal trainers at Hansen Park Fitness in Kennewick say there are many low impact ways to get the blood pumping.

They say using elastic bands and doing wall squats can improve joint health and increase mobility.

Carol Tifft says she works out, because she has grandchildren.

"Who I like to keep up with. They're busy, and running, and they like to play basketball out in the front yard. I want to be able to keep up with them."

Health experts say to consult a doctor before starting a new workout routine.
