Americans hold playoff rally with fans and fun

PASCO, Wash. -- The Tri-City Americans are trying something new. This year in preparing for home ice throughout the Western Conference playoffs, the Americans held a playoff rally.

It was at the TRAC in Pasco. Tuesday was something to get the fans excited, so their rambunctious cheering and cowbell rocking will be at its highest come Friday. The rally included games, coloring, autographs and lots of fun. Winnipeg natives Mason Wilgosh, Brendan Shinnimin and Adam Hughesman have one more chance to win a championship together. They already have three together from the pee wee and bantum leagues.

"It's a special opportunity for us here. It's not too often you get three best buds having to play on the same team their whole lives. We're looking to make the most out of the opportunity here and go as far as we can and finish this thing off right," Wilgosh said.
