RICHLAND, Wash.—A Richland business was evacuated Thursday morning after their smoke alarms were activated.
Just after 11am Thursday Richland firefighters responded to Davita Dialysis on Aaron Road in Richland. Firefighters say a motor in the heating and air condition system broke causing smoke to fill the facility.
"This happens quite often with all the community buildings that we have. We respond to these a couple times a month," says Chief Battalion Curtis Walsh, Richland Fire Department.
