Pacific Power offering "watt smart" incentives to customers
YAKIMA, Wash.-- Pacific Power is offering some incentives to customers to buy energy efficient items.
The "watt-smart incentives" range from small things like energy efficient bulbs to major appliances like refrigerators and dishwashers. After purchasing the product, customers can submit an application to get a refund.
The company says it's about helping people save energy and money.
"It's good for them, right for their bottom line, puts more money in their pocket for other things they want to do and it's good for the whole... It's good for the environment," says Clark Satre with Pacific Power.
Pacific Power has put together a list of all their incentives, and some tips on how to make your home more energy efficient without spending money.
