KENNEWICK, Wash.—A family that spent years in a refugee camp in Thailand now has a new home in Kennewick. The Home Builders Association of Tri-Cities and the Habitat for Humanity worked together to build a house in five days for "Blitz Build."
The family of five was able to come to the United State with help of World Relief. They have two girls ages 11 and 13, and a 15-year-old son.
"Today is changing my life. I never thought I'd have a home like this. And I never live in a house life this before. And this is like beyond my dream," says Ehtaw, 15-year-old son.
The home is on the 600 block of South Jean Street in Kennewick.
