KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Habitat for Humanity held their Day of Impact work day throughout the Tri-Cities.
Fifteen homes were worked on. Volunteers cleaned, painted and made repairs. One recipient was an 80-year-old man, Norman, in Kennewick. One volunteer, Steve Maki, says it's rewarding to help.
"It gives you a great deal of pleasure and pride to come out and help folks in the community that need that help. And Norman been very gracious and very appreciative of our efforts over here," says Maki.
The projects benefit low income, elderly, disabled and veterans.
