Mayors meet for annual "State of Cities"

PASCO, Wash.—All Tri-Cities mayors met for the annual "State of the Cities" Wednesday.  It took place at the Red Lion Hotel in Pasco.

Each mayor discussed issues related to their city such as economic development, future building and planning, and current projects.  Kennewick Mayor Steve Young says it's important to show the public the cities work together.

"In the past it's always been a division between the four cities.  We all seem to be doing our own thing.  I think this is a way for us to share the fact that we are working in collaboration with each other," says Mayor Steve Young, City of Kennewick.

The event was sold out with 350 attendees.
