PASCO, Wash. -- Columbia Basin College men's soccer will add 21 new student-athletes. Wednesday was their signing party. The student-athletes join a Hawks team that is only two years removed from winning the NWAACC's east region. Most of signees are from the Tri-Cities and Yakima areas. They say playing with so many familiar faces will help bring the team together quickly.

"I think it's going to be an advantage just because we've been playing together for a while so we know each other's styles. We know how we play so we're going to have good chemistry on the field," Toppenish High School student Victor Lopez said.

"I've been in the same high school - same school actually my whole life. Preschool through12th grade I've been in the same school so it's just going to be a new transition to get along with other people and learn to play with them," Moses Lake High School student Connor Webb added.
