MOXEE, Wash. -- A Moxee man says he found three stolen vehicles parked inside of his shed, Saturday afternoon.
The owner of the property, Wayne Rudder, says he contacted the Yakima County Sheriff's Office to report the stolen vehicles.
The Sheriff's Office confirmed to KNDO deputies were sent out to Rudder's property and had the vehicles towed, but they have not confirmed whether or not the vehicles were in fact stolen.
Rudder, the owner of Low Income Immigration Assistance in Yakima, says he was unaware the vehicles had been in his shed.
He says he rarely goes to check on it, since he says he parks his own vehicles in a garage attached to his house.
"I think they actually did the deed there, because the cars were up on the jacks, and it looks like they performed the work there. So they took the cars to the garage and maybe locked themselves in or something, I don't know," explained Rudder, who says the vehicles were stripped for parts.
Rudders claims because of his long hours spent working at his business in Yakima, he hasn't had time to check on the shed. He also says he doesn't know who or where the vehicles came from, but says he is cooperating with detectives.
There is no suspect information available, at this time.
The Yakima County Sheriff's Office is investigating this case.
