PROSSER, Wash. --   The city of Prosser is getting ready for their famous sports fest weekend.  The three on three basketball tournament for adults and children will be happening June 9th and 10th.

The Prosser Chamber of commerce says, they'll shut down downtown streets for the games, and the event brings about 700 people to the area, helping out small businesses.

This year, they're adding a tennis doubles tournament as well.

"As tradition has it, we're a little light on teams, the first couple of weeks.  But it happened last year too, We had eight teams the week before and the last week, 64 teams signed up so I'm hoping for that again,"says Jim Mine, the Executive Director of the Prosser Chamber of Commerce.

On top of the tournament, Milne says they'll be opening the Prosser Aquatic center that same weekend, and there will be no admission fee for all the visitors.

Registration for Sports Fest is $70 for a team of four.  For more information, click here.
