Rotary services celebrated at Columbia Center Mall
KENNEWICK, Wa. - Six local Rotary Clubs are in action at Columbia Center Mall in Kennewick from June 1 to June 6.
The Rotary Mall Fair week highlights the importance of immunizations and the EndPolio Now Initiate, reading to children, and a Feed the Need food drive for Second Harvest.
Starting Friday at noon, the public is invited to bring nonperishable foods to fill the huge 10 person disaster relief tent, and hear polio survivor, Ramesh Ferris speak about the disease.
On June 2 from 11 to 3, children are invited to hear members of the community read books out loud. Every child who attends will receive a free book from the Mid-Columbia Children's Reading Foundation. Story times begin every half hour.
