KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Thirty people volunteered their time Sunday, to work at a car wash in Kennewick benefiting St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
The car wash was in the Roberto's Tacos parking lot and asked people to donate whatever they could to get their car cleaned.
Event organizer, John Jojola, says they chose St. Jude's because they are known for their good care and they'll take patients even if they can't pay.
"If it were my children on the line, I'd want someone to give me that money so I could take my child there. I want to be able to feel like someone's doing something for me and I want to do something for them too," says Jojola.
St. Jude's Childrens Hospital is in Memphis Tennessee and specializes in cancer and catastrophic diseases treatment and research.
