KENNEWICK, Wash.- It may have been a rainy day, but that didn't keep the kids at Edison Elementary School from getting their exercise.
The Subway shops in the Tri-Cities put the second graders through the paces with several One-Minute Challenges.
Subway Regional Manager Lisa Moon says the goal of the Minute-to-Fitness Campaign is to fight child obesity and show kids that staying fit can be fun.
"One in three of our children is overweight or obese now, and out of those kids 70-percent become overweight as adults."
Subway on Thursday will challenge students at Gilbert Elementary School in Yakima.
