BENTON CITY, Wash.-- The Rattlesnake Mountain Shotgun Range had a grand reopening over the weekend.
The Benton City range originally opened over 20 years ago and just got a remodel. Last year the range was awarded a grant from the Washington Resource Conservation Office to build a new clubhouse.
The shooting range founder, Larry Pearle, says it's a lot of fun, but they put safety first.
"There's always someone here that will give you a helping hand if you haven't done this before or explain how to do it , when to do it, and the safety issue. The main thing is safety," says Pearle.
The shotgun range is open Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 3pm and Wednesdays from 1pm to 10pm.
