YAKIMA, Wash. -- Jury deliberations began Monday for a man accused of killing another man, in what some believe was a drug deal gone bad.
The trial for 22-year-old Sabastian Looney ended last Friday.
Looney faces first degree murder and robbery charges in the 2010 death of 21-year-old Gary Snell, Junior.
Family members from both sides were present in the courtroom.
Yakima County Superior Court judge Ruth Reukauf, who is presiding over the trial, sent jurors home Monday after they could not reach a verdict for one of the two counts.
It's unclear at this time which count the jury was deadlocked, whether it was for murder or robbery.
Judge Reukauf was not prepared to declare a mistrial Monday just yet.
They'll continue with deliberations on Tuesday.
