Changing faces won't faze Dust Devils

PASCO, Wash. -- In minor league sports, players are always shuffling around, changing teams and meeting new faces. The Tri-City Dust Devils are putting together a new group of players. They will have little time to develop a flow before the season starts on Friday. Some played together in the Arizona League this spring, but the rest will have to jump right in. The Dust Devils say that is not a problem because they are the type of team that always comes together well.

"You know it's a great group of guys, obviously. We've got some new faces to this team that were in Casper last year. But some of the Tri-Cities guys are back. It's kind of nice because so many of us gel together so well in Spring Training together and in Arizona together. We've been playing with each other, so it's going to be fun," Dust Devils first baseball Jordan Ribera said.

"That's the one thing, for some reason, we always have on this team. They always find a way to gel together. Hopefully we'll have that like we did last year," Dust Devils manager Fred Ocasio addded.
