KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Four thousand people went to the Mariachi Festival at Columbia Park in Kennewick Sunday.
The Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce puts on the annual community event which includes multiple mariachi bands from across the region, Mexican food and a lot of booths with different resources available for local Hispanics.
President of the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Martin Valadez, says it's an event that offers a lot for the local Hispanic community.
"It's a family fun day but it's also a resource fair where the community can come out and learn about the different resources that are available to community members, either health, migrant education, college, etc," says Valadez.
The festival also had children's entertainment activities and even a young mariachi performer.
