NACHES, Wash. -- The National Weather Service in Pendleton, Ore., has issued a flood warning for the Naches River through Wednesday.
They reported the river was at 16.1 feet Sunday morning. Flood stage is at 16 feet.
The river is expected to rise another foot by Monday morning.
Naches resident Gary Easton, who's lived by the river for more than 20 years, says the floods are getting worse each year.
"A couple months ago, my property down below here flooded and washed my driveway out. And we shouldn't have the floods we have now, even with the run-off that we have from the snow and the mountains and everything," Easton said.
The National Weather Service says the river levels should fall below flood stage by Tuesday night.
