TOPPENISH, Wash. -- Investigators still don't know what started a mobile home fire at the Willow Tree Trailer Park in Toppenish on Sunday.
Several vehicles and a nearby shed were damaged in the fire. The home was a complete loss.
About 17 firefighters with Yakima County Fire District Five arrived on scene at around 4:30 p.m.
Crews say they faced heavy winds as they worked to get the fire under control. It took about an hour to put out the fire.
"I think she just screamed that she got scared or something, I don't know. But when I ran outside, when I ran out there, I just seen the fire already. So, I don't know how it happened though," said Ana Cruz, a neighbor who heard the victim screaming and yelling.
No one was hurt in the fire.
In addition to the fire, Yakima County Sheriff's deputies were called out to a possible domestic disturbance at the same location. However, Yakima County Sheriff's chief Stew Graham told KNDO-TV on the phone Monday, YSO is not investigating any type of domestic incident at this time.
Meanwhile, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
