Playoff excitement heating up with the Fever

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Friday the Tri-Cities Fever start another playoff run through Intense Conference. The Fever will host the Colorado Ice. Last season Tri-Cities won the Intense Conference before losing to the Sioux Falls Storm in the IFL United Bowl Championship. Now it is time to get back to the playoff mentality. The 12-2 Fever want to keep the wins coming and they know what is at stake.

"Obviously this is win or go home. You look at what's on the line here. These guys are a close group. They understand that if they don't win a football game, this family is being broken up. We like to think of ourselves as a family, and we want to win as many games as we can here in the playoffs," Fever head coach Adam Shackleford said.

"It's ours for the taking on this side. We have home field advantage throughout the playoffs over here, barring Sioux Falls's outcome on that side. It feels good being in the playoffs," Fever running back Dennis Kennedy added.
