PASCO, Wash.- Strap on your running shoes and maybe a 100 pound pack to show your support for veterans this Independence Day.
More than 200 people took part in the Camp Patriot Fourth of July Fun Run in Pasco last year. They hope to double the attendance this year.
All proceeds benefit Camp Patriot which helps rehabilitate men and women disabled in the line of duty.
"It's a great sense of community. Everybody is there to support each other and just have a really good feeling event. Starting off your 4th of July, it's very patriotic since it is on the 4th of July and it is for veterans," says FallOut CrossFit Owner Tammy Smith.
You have until next Thursday to register online for the run.
