Yakima, WASH.--The Yakima Valley Vet Center held its 4th annual car and motorcycle show to raise funds for the veterans' food bank.
Admission was free, but people were encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items for veterans and their families in need.
Andy Pease, a member of a veterans group in Yakima, said "A lot of times we have veterans or their families that have had pay screw ups or something like that. So somebody can come in here...and in about four to five minutes walk out with food or a food card."
The event has proven to be a success for the vet center. Each year, they raise between $8,000-$12,000.
