Baby boy killed in two car collision

KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash.-- Six people were hurt and a 6-month-old boy was killed after a two car collision outside of Ellensburg.

It happened just before 1 o'clock on I-82, 16 miles south of Ellensburg.

Washington State Patrol troopers say a cooler fell off a car traveling on I-82. That's when the car carrying the baby boy slowed down to avoid the cooler and was rear ended.

One other person was taken to an area hospital for their injuries, the rest were treated at the scene.

52-year-old Gregg Broyles, of Yakima, was driving when he struck 23-year-old Wesley Fletcher, of College Place.

State Patrol identified the boy as 6-month-old as Milo Fletcher.

WSP says there were no drugs or alcohol involved but charges are pending.
