Funeral to be held for former Franklin County Fire Commissioner

PASCO, Wash. - The funeral for Ralph Burrus, a former fire commissioner for Franklin County Fire District 3, who spent 14 years as a firefighter, will be held July 3rd.

Burrus, from Pasco, who was 67, died one month after being diagnosed with heart disease. Burrus was named Firefighter of the Year in 1986.

The funeral is set for 11 a.m. on July 3 at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home. The home is located at 1401 S. Union St., in Kennewick.

A fire truck will carry the casket to Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
