H1 Unlimited Hydroplane race for Sacramento set for 2013

Sam Cole, H1 Unlimited: "We're excited to bring the fastest boats in the world and the thrill of the H1 Unlimited Hydroplane series back to Northern California and the Capitol City."

The last race was held in Sacramento in 1967, which was won by Billy Schumacher in the Bardahl.

After a successful exhibition in 2011, both parties agreed to move forward on a race May 31-June 2, 2013 on Folsom Lake in Granite Bay.
