Hope Solo: Team USA Was Drunk During 2008 Interview on Today Show (+video)

With just days to go before the Olympics begin in London, there is this: apparently the USA women's soccer team likes to party. Perhaps they like to party a little too much.

ESPN quoted Hope Solo, who said team USA was drunk when they spoke to Meredith Vieira on the Today Show back in 2008.

"When we were done partying, we got out of our nice dresses, got back into our stadium coats and, at 7 a.m. with no sleep, went on the Today show drunk," Solos said. "Needless to say, we looked like hell."

This latest revelation follows the news that Solo tested positive for banned substances – a mistake apparently related to medicine she was properly prescribed.

What do you think? Does it matter that Team USA did an interview on live television after partaking a little too much?
