Yakima, WASH.--There's a new man in charge at the Yakima Training Center.

A Change Of Command and Change of Responsibility Ceremony was held Friday morning.

After three years as the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Daniels formally transferred his authority to Lieutenant Colonel Darrell O'Steen.

Before moving to Yakima, O'Steen was part of the United States Army Armor School at Fort Benning, Georgia.

"We got here a couple of weeks ago, and I've been very impressed and glad to be part of the team, part of the area," said O'Steen. "This is our first time on the west coast so we look forward to the next few years."

O'Steen says the training center will continue to provide great service and support for all units.

Lieutenant Colonel Daniels is moving to the Army Personnel Center in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
