Southridge High hosts Sun Nation Football Camp

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- For more than a decade the Southridge High School football team has hosted the Sun Nation Football Camp.

The camp brings out more than eighty kids from grades one through eight. The camp also gives current high school players a chance to act as coaches. Southridge High coach Tony Reiboldt says the camp is a great way to coach kids who could one day end up playing for the Suns.

"It's a cool deal to see these little guys progress from year to year to year and then we have some of the kids who are on our football team - in our football program now that actually participated in this football camp years and years and years ago," Reiboldt said.

"When I come out here it gets me to work out and I work my hardest to get up to this level I am right now," added Cody Reiboldt, Tony's nephew who has been to the camp three years in a row.

"It feels pretty good because it's good to give back what my coaches have taught me and just kind of show it to the little kids," said Kadin Diaz, a Southridge junior.
