Meredith joined NBC Right Now in June 2012 as an anchor and reporter. She co-anchors the 5pm and 6pm newscasts, and she's thrilled to get a chance to be a part of the Tri-Cities/Yakima region.
Meredith worked her way into news as a producer, reporter and anchor covering the Two Virginia's in Bluefield, West Virginia before moving to the Pacific Northwest. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism at Georgia Southern University.
Her father is a retired Army helicopter pilot, and her mother is a real estate broker residing in Hinesville/Fort Stewart, Georgia. She grew up in Alabama, Germany and Georgia, and traveling has been a huge component of Meredith's life providing her with unique and diverse experiences.
In her free time, Meredith enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with family, friends and her two dogs. She finds fulfillment in helping people in her community and working with local animal shelters.
She can't wait to explore all the region has to offer, so if you have any suggestions or story ideas feel free to email her at firstname.lastname@example.org
