Republic Candidate Hadian campaigns in Yakima

Posted: Updated:

Yakima, WASH.--Courage was the theme of Republican Candidate Shahram Hadian's speech in Yakima Saturday.

Hadian is running for Washington State Governor. He will be campaigning in the Yakima Valley for the next several days.

Hadian attended a rally Saturday and talked about having the courage to tackle root issues.

Hadian says he's the only candidate in the race that is fighting against the implementation of President Obama's health care plan.

"I'm a Christian pastor," said Hadian. "I've been a teacher, a coach, small business owner, a police officer so I'm bringing that kind of real world experience. I'm not a career politician, and I'm proud of that because I believe we need servant leaders in our government."

Hadian is also for deregulating business, protecting farmland, and setting strict immigration laws.

He is running against the other Republican candidate Rob McKenna and Democratic candidate Jay Inslee.
