Volunteers needed for live disaster drill

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash.-- The Yakima Airport will hold a full-scale emergency exercise in September, and they need volunteers to help make it as real as possible.

The Yakima Valley Office of Emergency Management helps organize the training event.

It gives responders an idea of what to expect in a mass casualty incident.

Volunteers are asked to be available from 9am to 4pm on Saturday, September 15th. You will be given a script and instructions on what to do during the exercise.

For more information, contact the Office of Emergency Management at 574-1900.
