Road Maintenance Coming to SR 240

Posted: Updated:

RICHLAND, Wash. - State Route 240 will see closures in both directions between the intersections of Van Giesen, milepost 32 and Aaron Way, milepost 34. The multiple lane closures will be in both directions at intersections for pavement marking of crosswalks, stop bars, and directional arrows.

Operation will gradually move from one intersection to the next. Some markings will require single lane closures, and some will require double lane closures. Work hours will be 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Signs and orange cones will be used for traffic control to direct drivers through the work zone. Congestion is expected through this high traffic area.
