An American flag traveling 14,000 miles through 48 states stopped in Kennewick on Monday.
The flag is carried city by city by motorcyclists and veterans to honor the US Armed Forces. A total of over 90,000 riders are expected to take part in the journey, which began on April 1st and is almost complete. It's all apart of the 2012 Patriot Tour.
"The significance of it all is we are raising money for the wounded warrior program and their families. Everyone that's involved with the nation of patriots is doing this strictly on a volunteer basis," said Nation of Patriots Regional Commander Bobby Dale.
The flag heads to Spokane Tuesday. If you want to be a part of the ride, you can sign up at the Rattlesnake Mountain Harley Davidson at 8:30 Tuesday morning. The group will hit the road at 10 a.m.
