KENNEWICK, Wash., -- Daryl Rachinski appeared in Benton County Court this morning for an omnibus hearing.

The former Hanford High School foreign language teacher is charged with 3rd degree rape.  He's accused of having sexual contact with an underage girl in June.

Court documents say the alleged incident did not occur on school grounds or at a school-associated event.

A pre-trial date has been set for September 6th.
