Former KNDO reporter back in Yakima talking about journalism
YAKIMA, Wash.-- A familiar face was the featured speaker at Thursday's Rotary Club of Yakima luncheon.
Former KNDO reporter Susannah Frame worked in Yakima back in the late 80's and has since moved on to work in New York, Spokane, and now as an investigative reporter at KING5 News in Seattle.
Frame says she learned a lot from her reporting days in Yakima and spoke about the importance of investigative journalism.
"Even if you live in Yakima and the reports are coming out of Seattle, what we do is work for results and get results that should make a positive impact on everyone," said Frame.
Her investigative reports at KING5 include a series on the state ferry system's financial woes which helped change their payroll system and held managers accountable for excess spending, saving taxpayer money.
