Funky Food Favorites

KENNEWICK, Wash.  - Food is always a fun tasty part of the fair and today, Shaun Sheddy visited the Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo today looking for bizarre fair food.

For many the best part of the fair is the food, but have you ever walked by and asked your self "Where'd they come up with that idea?"

Well, Shaun found one brave soul who was willing to let her diet go to the extreme.

"I'm expecting something weird, but I'm not real sure I've never tried it," says Extreme Fair Food Tester Stacy.

When it comes to deep fried BUTTER, Stacy says, "It tastes really good, it has warm butter inside, its really sweet, I love it."

And the owner says Stacy isn't the only one, "They actually love it, they really do. Very, very few people do not like it, it's really good."

But deep fried butter isn't the only extreme food Stacy is eyeing, "They have alligator on a stick. I'm , I don't know about it."

And it too is very popular this year.

"It's been flying faster than we can cook it actually, it's just popular. It's really a different variety, so people like to try something new," says vendor Abel Garcia.

So this year at the fair, don't let fear deny your taste buds.
